The DJ years

Before insurance, I spent more than 20 years behind the turntables. That included touring as Fat Joe’s personal DJ. A DJ has one job: read the room and keep people from leaving. That’s the same job your content has on someone’s phone.

The insurance years

I spent 4 years in life insurance as an agent and a manager. I started at Globe Life, then worked with Family First Life and Lasting Mark. I managed agents at Globe Life and Family First Life, so I’ve seen the job from both sides of the desk.

Here’s what nobody tells you: being an agent is five jobs at once. You’re selling, buying leads, chasing follow-ups, marketing yourself, and somehow making content too. I didn’t have the systems. I didn’t know how to make life insurance content people actually wanted to watch. And then the chargebacks hit.

I burned out. The costs kept stacking up until I couldn’t keep doing it the same way. That’s what I mean when I say insurance quit me.

Why I built TaylorMade AI

At the end of 2025 I went all in on AI, and in January 2026 I started TaylorMade AI. The idea is simple: build what I wish I had when I was an agent. That starts with content, short videos with real personality that help agents get seen without doing everything themselves.
